UPDATE ON COVID-19 - In ongoing efforts to protect our members, staff, and friends, the Senior Center will remain closed until at least April 20, 2020.

The COVID-19 public health emergency is evolving rapidly, and we will continue to inform you as quickly as we can via email, social media, and our website should the target re-open date change.

The only services currently being provided at the Senior Center are Meals on Wheels and Nutrition Center lunches (which are being handed out to the individuals outside the building by Senior Center employees).

Thank you for the ongoing generous support and understanding as we work through these challenging times together. Stay home and stay safe!

Welcome to the Huntsville-Madison County Senior Center

The center is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a community focal point where mature persons, as individuals or in groups, come together for services and activities which enhance their dignity, support their independence and encourage involvement in community activities.

When you reach 60 years of age you automatically become a member if you live in Madison County or are visiting someone here. There is no membership fee.

Our center, located at 2200 Drake Ave in Huntsville, Alabama is a place where seniors can gather to meet friends for lunch, attend educational classes, participate in fitness classes, interest clubs and games such as pool, scrabble, bridge, and many other activities.
Call (256) 880-7080 for more information about any of the programs or to schedule a tour for you or your group.
