Six Nutrition Centers Serve Madison County Seniors!

In addition to the Thomas W. Davidson Senior Center on Drake Avenue, there are five additional nutrition centers serving seniors throughout Madison County.  These neighborhood locations make it possible for seniors to have a hot, nutritious lunch at a center not far from home.  Most of the centers offer games, crafts, and classes.  Some of them provide home-delivered meals to homebound seniors in their community.

Below is a list of these centers, as well as the name of each director.  If you or someone you know would like to become involved in your neighborhood nutrition center, or if you are interested in the home-delivered meal program, contact the center closest to you.  Volunteers are always needed!

Let's meet for lunch

The Courtyard Café at the Senior Center on Drake Avenue is an ideal place for you to have lunch and meet new friends!

The Café serves hot meals Monday - Friday at 11:00 am.  There is no charge but a voluntary donation is requested to cover the cost of the meal.  Please make your reservation with the Senior Center Front Desk Receptionist between 7:30 - 8:30 am the day you are coming.  If you are interested in volunteering to help serve lunch, please let us know.

Bingo and More in the Courtyard Café

If you come early to reserve a lunch on Mondays, our weekly Bingo games begin at 9:30.  On Wednesdays and Fridays, you can enjoy "The Jammers" play.  Want more music? Consider joining the ukulele group, take a voice lession, or sing with "Sunshine Singers" and visit area nursing homes.  And, of course, there are many other crafts, recreation, and wellness groups that would welcome you as a participant!
