Senior Center Boosters

The Senior Center Booster program was created as we initiated plans to build and occupy our magnificent facility in 1994. It's sole purpose is to raise funds to help pay for the significantly increased operating and staffing expenses. While the City of Huntsville paid for the construction of our building and they are by far our largest financial supporter, we are not a part of city government. We are a private non-profit corporation and must raise a significant portion of our funding every year from private sources.

Including the Senior Center Boosters in your annual contributions will enrich the lives of thousands of Seniors and you will help the Senior Center to continue to serve as a model for other communities throughout the country. Please print the Senior Center Booster Form, fill it out and mail it with your tax-deductible contribution to the address provided. For your convenience, you may choose to establish a monthly bank draft as many others have done. You will receive a letter of thanks, and your name will be listed on this page unless you request not to be listed. If your contribution is $100 or more unless you state otherwise, your name will be on our Booster Plaque on the Wall of Honor at the Senior Center.

2007 BOOSTER CAMPAIGN

THANK YOU FOR BEING

A LINK

 IN THE SENIOR CENTER CHAIN

During the fiscal year 2006 (October 1, 2005 – September 30, 2006), two hundred thirty of you showed your support of the Senior Center by making donations to the Senior Center Boosters. Each of you who join the boosters is a link in a chain of support that binds together the Center’s past, present and future. Just as the quality and quantity of the Senior Center’s vast array of programs and services are testaments to the commitment of those who support it, the links that will keep the Center strong are being forged today.

The Senior Center’s ability to continue to provide these services and programs is dependent upon the support of those who use the Center and others who believe in our mission. Your choice to be a link in the chain of support that keeps the Center strong is greatly appreciated.

This year, we literally mean a link in the chain. In recognition of your gift, your name will be displayed on a paper link that is joined with hundreds of others. Each activity room at the Senior Center will have a chain that, when completed, will be joined with each other to form a chain around the inside of the facility to serve as a physical reminder of the chain of commitment, the chain of continuity and the chain of caring that links us all together.
